Ovilla Heritage Day – Celebrating 40 Years
OVILLA HERITAGE DAY – CELEBRATING 40 YEARS!
The City of Ovilla is excited to invite every citizen to join us for our 40th Annual Heritage Day Celebration on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the park grounds behind Ovilla City Hall. This is YOUR day, a chance for the whole community to come together and celebrate the rich heritage, history, and spirit of our small-town Texas home.
🌟 This year’s theme: “Ovilla Small Town – Texas Style”
The celebration kicks off with the Heritage Day Parade at 9:00 a.m., starting at Ovilla Road Baptist Church and ending at the park behind City Hall. Floats, walking groups, motorized units, and more will fill the streets with energy and pride.

🎶 Opening ceremonies begin at 9:30 a.m. on the park grounds, featuring a special plane flyover during the National Anthem.
🚒🚓🚑Throughout the day, enjoy exciting displays and demonstrations, including:
– Fire, EMS, and Police vehicle showcases
– Fire Department “Jaws of Life” extrication demo
– CareFlite helicopter landing, take-off, and show & tell
🍔🎤🎪 That’s not all! The grounds will be filled with:
– A wide variety of food trucks & vendors
– Live performances
– A car show
– Petting zoo
– Climbing wall & bounce houses for the kids
– And so much more family fun!
🌟 This year, we are especially proud to recognize Paige Greenberg, who will serve as the 2025 Heritage Day Grand Marshal. Her determination and accomplishments make her a shining example of the Ovilla spirit.
