Rendon is unincorporated Tarrant County at its most authentic. Named for Joaquin Rendon, the original Spanish land grant holder, settled as Cross Roads in the 1880s, and still rural enough that neighbors own horses while Mansfield ISD schools and Fort Worth are both 20 minutes away. Thirteen thousand residents chose larger lots, quieter streets, and genuine community over the polished master-planned alternative. They made the right call.
