Everman is the small town that Fort Worth grew completely around and never absorbed. Named for a railroad surveyor in 1902, a WWI flight training hub at Barron Field by 1917, and still fiercely independent today. Fort Worth surrounds it on every side, but Everman kept its identity on purpose. This is blue-collar Tarrant County at its most authentic.
