DESCRIPTION:OVILLA HERITAGE DAY – CELEBRATING 40 YEARS! \nThe City of Ovilla is excited to invite every citizen to join us for our 40th Annual Heritage Day Celebration on Saturday\, September 27\, 2025\, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the park grounds behind Ovilla City Hall. This is YOUR day\, a chance for the whole community to come together and celebrate the rich heritage\, history\, and spirit of our small-town Texas home. \n🌟 This year’s theme: “Ovilla Small Town – Texas Style” \nThe celebration kicks off with the Heritage Day Parade at 9:00 a.m.\, starting at Ovilla Road Baptist Church and ending at the park behind City Hall. Floats\, walking groups\, motorized units\, and more will fill the streets with energy and pride. \nParade entry forms are available now at 👉 https://www.cityofovilla.org/281/Heritage-Day \n🎶 Opening ceremonies begin at 9:30 a.m. on the park grounds\, featuring a special plane flyover during the National Anthem. \n🚒🚓🚑Throughout the day\, enjoy exciting displays and demonstrations\, including: \n– Fire\, EMS\, and Police vehicle showcases\n– Fire Department “Jaws of Life” extrication demo\n– CareFlite helicopter landing\, take-off\, and show & tell \n🍔🎤🎪 That’s not all! The grounds will be filled with: \n– A wide variety of food trucks & vendors\n– Live performances\n– A car show\n– Petting zoo\n– Climbing wall & bounce houses for the kids\n– And so much more family fun! \n🌟 This year\, we are especially proud to recognize Paige Greenberg\, who will serve as the 2025 Heritage Day Grand Marshal.
